On Wednesday 17th November our Days for Girls group was finally able to meet again after another extended lockdown. Our numbers were down slightly which is understandable as some people are still quite nervous about meeting in groups but we still had I think 15 people there for the day. Overall we had a terrific day and as usual there was lots of friendly chatter happening as we all worked away. There was lots of sewing, cutting and pinning going on and 60 - 80 Days for Girls kits were packed ready to go out to girls. The kits will be distributed next year sometime as COVID has made our normal distribution chains more difficult. We did get 90 kits sent out through the year though which was terrific. We will have one more Workshop day this year on Tuesday 14th December and I do hope that 2022 will be a more settled year and we will be able to resume having monthly Workshops.
