Family Fun Day Yarra Bank Playground Opening on 8th August is deferred to 12th SEPTEMBER 2021.
With my thanks for those who had Volunteered for the above event, please be advised that the organising Committee has decided to defer the event until 12th September 2021.
This is a pity but in the current restrictive environment, it just doesn’t sit comfortably for Rotary/Council to be holding a public event, restricted to 300 attendees.
Therefore, we decided that a deferral for five weeks would, hopefully, give more ‘normal’ conditions and maybe even better weather…
Remember, the event is at Yarra Bank Reserve, Creswick St, Hawthorn with the Opening ceremony from 12 noon so come along anyway!!
So again, my and Imre’s thank you. The new dates we now seek Volunteers are:
- Saturday 4th September – 10.00am – letter box drop - for maybe a couple of hours, depending on numbers - contact Greg Cribbes
- Sunday 12th September – 10.30 – 3.00pm - for the RCNB BBQ, refer to the Roster/contact Imre Lele
- Sunday 12th September – from 10.00am - for marshalling at the same venue as the BBQ, contact Greg Cribbes
