Tim was appointed CEO and Managing Director of AdAlta Ltd, an ASX listed drug discovery company in October 2019. After completing science and law degrees at ANU and a PhD in chemistry at Imperial College in London, Tim joined management consulting firm McKinsey & Company in Australia prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry where he has spent 20 years in high growth businesses and business units developing and launching new products new technologies and new markets. His roles have included business development, alliance management, portfolio and product development, and commercialisation experience in Europe, Asia and Australia, with a particular focus on biologics, cell and gene therapies and pharmaceutical products. Previous roles include CEO and Managing Director of Cell Therapies Pty Ltd, a leading contract manufacturer of cellular therapies at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, President of Asia Pacific for Hospira, Inc., and a variety of senior management roles with Mayne Pharma Ltd prior to its acquisition by Hospira. He also currently serves as a Non-executive Director at Acrux Ltd and BioMelbourne Network Inc.
