Steve Clifford - CEO SecondBite
Steve was a corporate lawyer for 30 years at one of Australia’s leading law firms, including time spent in New York and running their South East Asian operations out of Singapore.
Almost a decade ago he decided to switch to the Not for Profit sector. Since then, he has held leadership positions at various NFP organisations including: Whitelion (working with young people in the youth justice system), as inaugural CEO of Twiggy Forrest’s early childhood initiative, and at Save the Children (as head of Australian operations, working with remote indigenous communities).
Steve has written a book, “From Profit to Purpose” about switching to the NFP sector.
As CEO of SecondBite, he is passionate about their goal of Ending Waste & Ending Hunger. Steve is a member of several food sector taskforces, including the Advisory Committee of Stop Food Waste Australia
