It was a pleasure to welcome back to the fold Beatrice Ko and husband Christopher Lai after 2 years and Ann Kerr and Graeme Bird after an absence of 8 years. To cap it off we inducted new member Deborah Craven, another welcome addition to the club.

Ann’s autobiographical presentation gave us great insight into her formative years.

PP Greg presented our popular member Takao Yukawa with a well-deserved Paul Harris Recognition.

Takings at our Saturday BBQ at Bunnings were around. $1350. Thanks to the team: John McBride, Imre Lele, Peter Downton, Grant King, Sue McDonald, Phil Francis, John Burley, John Magor, Deborah Craven, and Interactors: Mentha, Isabella, Sam and Anika. A great team effort sharing the work and the funds raised.

Peter Cleary did the run from 2ndbite to CamCare and Camberwell Market workers Greg Ross, Janie Pirret, Findley Cornell and Dean Wells ensured more will be added to our fundraising account.

The morning tea arranged by Kris, at Lyon House Museum was a successful get together of 25 ladies, a mixture of members, partners and friends.

District Changeover at Essendon Fields paid tribute to a number of fine people and partner organisations, none finer than our Jane Pennington. No exotic gems or framed certificate for our Rowan McClean but a sincere acknowledgement and appreciation of the great work he put into Community Service and Networker.
