A happy 42nd birthday celebrated last Thursday thanks to having a room full of happy members, partners and guests, especially Areta and her (26th) delicious birthday cake,

It was also an opportunity to acknowledge the incredible contributions of our remaining Charter Members, Stan Hibbert, Geoff Steinicke, Marcel Muntwyler and Peter Cleary. Though Stan and Marcel were not at the meeting, Peter presented a comprehensive summary of Marcel’s outstanding contribution to NBRC. 
Very sad news to learn of the death of past president John Mollison. Our thoughts go to Anthea and family. You will find a tribute to John, by Greg Matthews, in this Grapevine.
This week
May 19 Rebecca Sheean will not be with us this week. We want to ensure all members and partners have the opportunity to hear her presentation so are working on establishing a June date that will suit.
If you have not yet booked for Thursday’s meeting, please do it now to assist us with planning.
