Last Thursday an adjusted running sheet saw us out of KGC by 7:15 and home before 8:00pm. Thanks to Peter Elliott and Greg Cribbes for dealing with things while President and Sergeant were crooning at Nellie Melba Retirement Village at Wheelers Hill. We left there at 5:25 and arrived at KGC just after 6pm, thanks to smooth flowing freeways.
2MauRo was able to wave the Rotary flag and contribute a few hundred dollars to our fundraising account just before the shut down was announced. You can help our limited fund-raising by making a donation to our Service account BSB 633000 A/C 146 140 785 with VSF and your surname as the reference. Purely voluntary of course.

Thanks also to Greg Matthews for the reflections on Sydney 2000 when our club was involved in catering, to Jim Studebaker for the information about what’s happening in membership and the different styles of Rotary Club being created. Also John Magor as stand in almoner, updated us on John McBride, Gavan Schwartz and Geoff Haddy who are in our thoughts and to whom we send best wishes.

We are determined to have Melbourne Football Club legend Hassa Mann speak to us but now have to establish a third date. Keep your team paraphernalia at the ready so when it does happen it will be a night of colour. Hopefully after one more Zoom meeting we can return to KGC August 19 to experience the presentation by Mica Paramedic, David Bedford-Lee.

Click here to let us know you will be joining us on Zoom this Thursday at 5.55pm for 6:00pm start. Finish at 7:00pm.

An invitation will be emailed to you.
