Earlier this week, the Camcare/Access Health team celebrated National Volunteer Week by recognising all their many Volunteers who have contributed to the success of Access Health & Community over the past years.

This includes our Thursday fresh food pick-ups and deliveries, plus the amazing work in creating their very productive kitchen garden.

Indeed, the Camcare team were glowing in praise at the morning tea on Monday for RCNB/you in achieving such a wonderful kitchen garden over the many years. We received specific mention from CEO Jane Broadhead in her farewell speech.

A lovely sunny morning for all Volunteers to enjoy the warmth whilst wandering thru and seeing the variety on offer!!! Even last Friday’s newest bed was waiting in anticipation of what’s to come. Well done to all RCNB and our gardening schools involved!!

RCNB making a difference!!

This was the perfect opportunity to ask Kelli at Camcare for their assistance with our Gardening Project by identifying more referrals of Client properties that may need a ‘make-over’ by our school partners – watch this space. If you know of any such suitable properties for the Gardening Project, just let Neil M know.        Cheers Greg Cribbes
