The Camberwell Sunday Market has been a consistent fundraiser this year.  Out of 35 Sundays the market operated we were able to make a handsome profit of $16,308 - an excellent result.

I wish to thank all volunteers who participated, especially the early risers who braved the extremely cold winter mornings - colder than I can ever remember.  Well done guys!

My special thanks to Joseph Yap who volunteered at least twice every month, and came to the rescue when we needed to fill a vacancy.  Also thanks to Greg Cribbes who always did 6 hour shifts - quite a feat.

I have said before that the Market is a 'whole of club event'.  It is not too onerous a task for all members to volunteer and join the regulars and meet Rotarians from other clubs as well as enjoy the atmosphere of the market.
